What Team Tours do you offer?
Our team tour locations are worldwide. The most popular and best locations for teams travelling from Ireland include the UK, Spain, Portugal and South Africa. Teams travelling to Ireland often wish to include Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway. They also look at including the UK and taking in rugby cities such as Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Belfast.
What age groups do you cater for?
The youngest tour we looked after was an U8 and U9 team from Italy to Ireland. The most popular touring age for short haul tours is U12-U16. From U18 to senior long haul destinations become more popular.
What standard of teams do you work with?
This season alone we have looked after international teams such as Tonga, the Barbarians (men’s and women’s) and the French U19’s. Regardless of a team’s ability or standing our tour principles still apply – professionally organised, hassle free and fun!
Why would I book a Team Tour with you instead of doing it all myself?
A team tour can certainly be organised by your club but often it can be a lot more difficult than first imagined. Rugby Travel Ireland has been organising rugby tours for a decade now and it is what we do. We have real purchasing power with airlines, hotels etc and this saving often makes our tours cheaper than if you were to organise it yourself. At the very least, let us send you a quotation! All our tour locations, facilities, accommodation etc have been personally vetted by our staff. If they don’t meet our tough standards then we don’t use them. It is this attention to detail that will show in your tour.
Do you take international teams on tours or just Irish teams?
We specialise in both outbound (team tours from Ireland) and inbound (team tours to Ireland) rugby tours. Our experience and knowledge of rugby tours in Ireland and around the world means that we are the team for you.
